Have you ever created
a great piece of work, put all your effort into a great project, or accomplished
something great, only to experience the hurt of never getting noticed or given
enough credit for what you did? Then Congratulations! You’re on the right track to
success
How do I Know that?
Well let me tell you a story
I come from a
make-it-yourself background, basically made everything I am now from scratch. And
I managed to surround myself with amazing people who were from the same
background as well, they are strong, inspiring people either in academics or in
their personal lives. We made a great team and kick-started a humanitarian
project aiming to help people in need, which academically was required of us
yes, but we took it a step further, following our own passion. The project was small
but it had great impact, not only on our audience, but also on our own lives.
However, our academic board did not meet such strategic success with any
support at all. And we can say that from there it was very easy for every
single powerful member of our team to feel like they had failed. But this was
not the case.
I am telling you
this story to get to the message that is; you do not need
to get glorified for every goal you carry out to know your worth. We are living
in a society where credit is given for people who hadn’t necessarily earned it.
It is how most of us are brought
up today, we get everything easily, and with ways that prevent us from working
hard. Some people receive praise and credit they don’t deserve, and that’s OK.
Don’t stress about it, don’t worry about missing your chance in life because of
it, you won’t. Things will always manage to get back on the right track for
those who never give up - and I know what you’re thinking- it
is not just a saying, you can call it karma or whatever but if you keep trying
to go further, you will eventually get the appreciation you deserved all along.
And the people who get it easy never last long. Because in the real world; hard
workers prevail.
So if we can survive
it, you can too! Do not let in-appreciation get you down, do not wait for
praise on every little accomplishment, know yourself and your worth and keep
moving forward, seeing the difference you are making, driven with your passion
and love for what you do and you will get there, eventually.

This is awesome!
