We’ve been screaming our lungs out as women, in many ways; in all ways we could. And in most times, we couldn’t, and it’s not because we weren’t able to, but it’s because we were taught to be afraid, to hide, to remain silent, to be ashamed and to be ashamed some more. Ashamed of what exactly? What are women being taught to be ashamed of? Ever since they were young girls and all they hear is that everything is a ‘no’, everything is wrong. You have an aspiration to play a specific sport? No, it’s not something that girls do! You have a dream of having a job you love? No, this job isn’t for women. You want to celebrate your own body, creativity and life? What does that even mean girl are you crazy or something? You want to experience something? Want to learn something? Want to travel alone?
